The National Dog Show at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks is a regional treasure and a national phenomenon because of its rich tradition and its holiday time slot on national TV.Hosted by the Kennel Club of Philadelphia (est. 1879), it is the only single-venue benched show in America. The NBC TV two-hour special, The National Dog Show Presented by Purina, airs annually on Thanksgiving Day following the Macy’s Parade. Come Saturday and/or Sunday to see Breed, Group and Best in Show judging plus top agility dogs, therapy dogs to hug and vendors galore.
