Getting to Expo
via Train or Bus

Most major transit operations have trip planning applications on their websites. The best way to get public transit directions to Expo is to consult those operators directly. We cannot verify that anything we outline here is correct or up to date, and service schedules change periodically.

However, here is a basic overview of how to access Expo via train or bus.

SEPTA

To plan your trip to Expo using SEPTA, please use SEPTA Trip Planner or Google Maps Directions by Transit.

SEPTA bus line 99 stops in the Expo parking lot.

From 30th Street station in Center City Philadelphia, there are three main ways to get to Expo:

  1. You can take the Manayunk/Norristown Train to the Norristown Transportation Center and pick up the 99 bus from there.
  2. You can take the 124 or 125 buses to where they intersect the 99 bus route and transfer (use the SEPTA Trip Planner or Google Maps Directions for details).
  3. Take a Regional Rail train to Paoli station, and from there call a taxi or car service.

AMTRAK

If you will be taking Amtrak into Philadelphia, the main hub will be Amtrak 30th Street Station in Center City.

The closest Amtrak station to Expo is Paoli, which can also be accessed via SEPTA transit.

From 30th Street, you can reach Expo via SEPTA, or car service such as Uber or standard taxis. While we cannot provide estimates of cost, the trip will be roughly 25 miles and should last around 35 minutes. If you choose to use Uber, you can input our address to get a price estimate for your journey before you commit to the fare.
